Lonestar Capture Specialists
Lonestar Capture Specialists is a Texas based company that buys, sells, traps, and transports exotic wild game. Owners Buzzy Hughes and Tad Honeycutt have been good friends of Film Director J.L. Botelho for years, and when they asked him to shoot a short film to highlight their unique trapping techniques, Mr. Botelho enthusiastically agreed.
The short film "Lonestar Capture Specialist," was shot on location in the Texas Hill Country in the summer of 2007. This DVD has been seen in the United States , South Africa , and viewed by the Government of The United Arab Emirates .
The Lonestar Capture Specialists have a unique "non-lethal" trapping method, and the Government of The United Arab Emirates has asked the company to come to Abu Dhabi in the summer of 2008 to capture rare and endangered exotic animals to be placed in controlled reserves to avoid extinction.
As of yet, Film Director J.L. Botelho has not decided about whether or not he will follow the Lonestar Capture Specialists to the Persian Gulf to film this event. But, he is keeping the month of August 2008 open in case he decides to do so.
